Garden Crew 2017-2018

We are currently running our Garden Crew from Old Kirk and Muirhouse Church on Pennywell Gardens, where we have a small orchard, vegetable beds, and a newly planted deciduous hedge planted in partnership with RSPB.

Youth Worker Chrissie Lewis, artist Natalie Taylor, and Gardener Alexis Beddoe offer sessions on Monday and Friday afternoons for local children, between 3.30-5.30 pm. Mostly outdoors in warmer months, with some indoor nature activities during the Winter. See our programme for further details on the Current Programme page.

Previously in 2017:
Centipede’s Interim Youth Development Worker, Julia Penicuik has been working hard and with great enthusiasm in the local brownfield sites, and the church garden.
